This conference provided Educators, Principals, Learning Support Teachers, Psychologists and Speech Pathologists with the latest information on how brain science research is being applied to develop students' learning capacity and reading ability. The neuroscience-based interventions for Dyslexia, Auditory Processing and Reading & Learning Difficulties were also discussed.

LearnFast presented "The Brain That Changes Itself" Seminar in Sydney, August 2010, featuring Dr Norman Doidge
In our morning session Dr Doidge presented "Lessons from the Frontiers of Brain Science". He explained how our brains can be changed to overcome disabilities and improve abilities.
The afternoon session was lead by Devon Barnes, Clinical Director of Lindfield Speech Pathology and Learning Centre and Learnfast Australia. She was also joined by Shirley Wallace from Braemar College in Victoria, Kim Peters from Merimbula Public School in New South Wales, Cathy Rubbi from Speech Pathology Services in New South Wales and Colin Klupiec from Oxford Falls Grammar School in New South Wales.
