Fast ForWord Language to Reading

Description:
A series of computer-delivered exercises for students who are struggling with reading and need to develop the cognitive skills necessary to become better readers.


Ages: 6 years and above

Exercises:
  • Build memory skills through exercises that task both working and long-term memory.
  • Improve concentration and ability to focus attention on tasks and ignore distractions.
  • Develop auditory, visual and linguistic processing of orally presented words, sentences and stories for meaning and comprehension.
  • Develop sequencing skills (a cognitive skill that relies on memory, attention and processing) through exercises that require utilisation of word order to comprehend complex statements, multi-step instructions and respond following a specified sequence of actions.
